Manually Creating a New Tenancy

  1. Enter the Weekly Rent agreed upon between tenant and property manager.
  2. Enter the Rental Frequency: Weekly, Fortnightly, or Monthly
  3. First Rent Payment, holding deposit, or Upfront Rent value. Auto calculated but can be edited.
  4. Bond amount to be paid. Auto calculated but can be edited.
  5. Maximum Urgent Repairs Amount permitted by the landlord.
  6. Add primary and additional tenants.
  7. Enter the Tenancy Start Date.
  8. Enter the Duration: Number of weeks, Number of days (added to the weeks)
  9. Enter the Lease End Date: auto calculated from the previous Tenancy start date, number of weeks, and number of days.
  10. Enter the Move in Date: gets a default value equal to the lease start date. Can be edited. Important for utilities connections.
  11. Specify whether the property provided Furnished or Unfurnished?
  12. Specify the Number of Adults that will be living in the property.
  13. Specify the Number of Children that will be living in the property.
  14. Specify whether there will be pets in the premise. If yes, description field will be provided for further details.
  15. Enter the Inspection Date.
  16. Choose Rent Payment Method and add corresponding reference number
  17. Select Documents from dropdown list to be added to tenancy and comms.
  18. Select and configure Tenancy Agreement from dropdown list
  19. Click on Save
